Feature 2.2 · Conceptual architecture — not “the” architecture
AGI architecture explorer
One defensible way a human-breadth system could be organized — a teaching model, not a blueprint. Click each node in order and watch perception flow through planning to learning.
Node 1 of 6
Perception, Memory & Reasoning
Takes in the world (text, images, sensor data), recalls relevant context from memory, and reasons about what is happening. Everything downstream depends on this grounding step.
Reading this diagram correctly: it shows capabilities a system would need, not components anyone has built into a verified AGI. Compare it with the capability simulator — autonomy and tool use are the same dimensions, measured differently.
